Mr. Nieto is a Managing Director in Perella Weinberg Partners’ Advisory business. He focuses on advising clients in the Industrials and Automotive sectors.

Mr. Nieto has more than 13 years of investment banking experience assisting companies and financial sponsors on a wide range of strategic matters. Selected transaction experience includes advising Melrose on its acquisition of GKN; ONEX on its divestiture of KraussMaffei to ChemChina; Triton on its divestiture of Dematic to AEA, MAN SE’s Supervisory Board on the acquisition by Volkswagen, Lenovo on its acquisition of Medion, and HeidelbergCement on its divestiture of Maxit to Saint-Gobain; as well as various Initial Public Offerings and other equity and debt financing transactions.

Prior to joining Perella Weinberg Partners in September of 2018, Mr. Nieto was at Royal Bank of Canada from 2016 to 2018, where he most recently served as a Director in the European Industrials and Automotive group. He was previously with Barclays and Goldman Sachs in London and Frankfurt.

Mr. Nieto earned the degree of Diplom-Volkswirt from Universität zu Köln, Germany.
