Ross Hammerman is a Partner in the Firm’s Advisory business, focused on advising clients in the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors. Dr. Hammerman has two decades of investment banking experience.

Dr. Hammerman previously served as Global Co-Head of Deutsche Bank’s Healthcare practice. Prior to joining Deutsche Bank in 2016, Dr. Hammerman led the Global Life Sciences practice at UBS. He began his investment banking career at Lehman Brothers and moved to Citigroup post bankruptcy. At both Lehman and Citi he primarily covered clients in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors.

Dr. Hammerman is also a licensed medical doctor and was previously an Assistant Professor of Gynecologic Oncology at UT Southwestern in Dallas and Chief Resident in Ob/Gyn at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He holds an MBA from Columbia Business School, an MD from New York University School of Medicine and an AB from Duke University.
