Holger Schmidt is a Managing Director in Perella Weinberg’s Advisory business. Based in Munich and London, Mr. Schmidt focuses on advising clients across Europe in the Financial Services sector.

Mr. Schmidt has 17 years of investment banking experience. Prior to joining Perella Weinberg in January 2024, he was at Morgan Stanley where he most recently served as Managing Director and Head of the Financial Institutions Group in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Mr. Schmidt has extensive expertise in M&A advisory, global capital markets, risk management solutions and corporate finance.

Mr. Schmidt earned a Master’s degree in Finance and Marketing at HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Bayreuth.
