Erik Maris is the Vice Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Perella Weinberg France, is based in Paris, and provides strategic advice to clients across coverage sectors.

Mr. Maris has over 30 years of investment banking experience. He recently spent 4 years at Advent International as an Advisory Partner. Prior to this, he co-founded and led one of France’s most reputable boutique advisory firms, Messier Maris & Associes, in 2010. Before that, he served as Managing Partner and Co-Managing Director of Lazard France.

Over his career, he has worked on complex, cross-border transactions with clients such as LVMH, PSA Group, Kering, Axa, Orange S. A., Groupe Casino, Louis Dreyfus, Givaudan, Eutelsat, Danone, CVC Capital Partners, The Carlyle Group, and Bain Capital.

Mr. Maris is a graduate of the HEC Business School in Paris.
