Deepak Jaisankar
Deepak Jaisankar is a Managing Director at Perella Weinberg. Based in New York, he advises the firm’s Healthcare clients, with a focus on Healthcare Technology and Services.
Mr. Jaisankar has over 15 years of investment banking experience advising management teams, boards of directors, investors, and government entities on a wide range of strategic and financial matters. He has advised public and private companies, as well as financial sponsors, on complex mergers and acquisitions, strategic reviews, separations and carve-outs, recapitalizations and minority investments, activism defense, restructurings, and other capital structure–related transactions.
Mr. Jaisankar joined Perella Weinberg in 2015. Prior to joining the firm, he was at the International Finance Corporation, part of the World Bank Group, focused on transactions across South Asia. Earlier in his career, he was based in Singapore in the Investment Banking Division at DNB Bank ASA, advising clients in Southeast Asia and the Middle East on M&A, IPOs, and debt financing transactions.
Mr. Jaisankar holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Finance from Singapore Management University and a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
