Barry Blake
Barry Blake is a Partner at Perella Weinberg. Based in New York, he focuses on advising clients in healthcare services & technology, across both corporates and financial sponsors.
Mr. Blake brings over 25 years of investment banking experience advising companies on strategic and corporate finance matters. A selection of his industry shaping transactions includes: the sale of LHC Group to Optum for $5.4 billion; the sale of Envision Healthcare to KKR for $9.9 billion; the merger of Envision Healthcare with AmSurg for a combined enterprise value of $15 billion; the sale of AMR to KKR for $2.4 billion; the sale of Kindred Healthcare to TPG Capital, WCAS, and Humana for $4.1 billion; and the acquisition of MedCo by Express Scripts for $29 billion.
Prior to joining Perella Weinberg, Mr. Blake served as Global Co-Head of Investment Banking at Leerink Partners. Previously, he held senior roles at SVB Securities, Guggenheim Partners, Citigroup, J.P. Morgan, and Lehman Brothers. He began his career at Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley, and KPMG.
Mr. Blake holds an MBA from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and a BA in Economics from Hendrix College.
