Alexander Moore is a Managing Director at Perella Weinberg Partners leading coverage of insurance companies within the Firm’s Financial Institutions Group in Europe.

Mr. Moore has over 20 years of investment banking experience during which he has advised financial institutions in Europe, Asia and the US. Prior to joining Perella Weinberg Partners in 2021, Mr. Moore was a Managing Director with UBS in London. He returned to Europe in 2018 from Asia, where he had helped establish and run Morgan Stanley’s Asia insurance coverage practice over a 15 year period. He joined Morgan Stanley in 2001 with the FIG team in London.

Mr. Moore’s extensive advisory experience covers a range assignments across M&A and capital raisings, including landmark IPOs such as AIA and Samsung Life. While in Asia, Mr. Moore also advised key Insurtech players including Zhong An on their inaugural private placements. More recently in Europe he advised Hiscox on its equity issuance.

Mr. Moore graduated from Oxford University.
