Mr. Chan is a Partner in Perella Weinberg Partners’ Advisory business. He focuses on advising clients in the Technology, Financial Technology and Business Services sectors.
Mr. Chan has more than 12 years of investment banking and related experience assisting companies on a wide range of strategic matters. During his tenure at Perella Weinberg Partners, he has advised PayPal on its acquisition of TIO Networks; Xirrus on its sale to Riverbed; KKR on its acquisition of Calabrio; Seagate on its acquisition of Dot Hill Systems; Anvato on its sale to Google; PricewaterhouseCoopers on its acquisition of Booz & Co.; Google’s Special Committee on its recapitalization and issuance of Class C non-voting stock; and Sea Ltd’s IPO on the NYSE
Prior to joining Perella Weinberg Partners in March of 2011, Mr. Chan was at Greenhill & Co. from 2009 to 2011, where he most recently served as an Associate in the M&A team responsible for Technology and Business Services sectors. He began his career as a Management Consultant at Accenture, serving Technology and Telecom clients.
Mr. Chan earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Mathematics in Systems Theory from University of California, Berkeley and a Masters in Business Administration from Columbia Business School.
