Mr. Rossi is a Partner in Perella Weinberg Partners’ Advisory business. He focuses on advising clients in the Financial Services sector, with a focus on the property & casualty and life insurance sectors globally.

Mr. Rossi has more than 15 years of investment banking experience assisting companies on a wide range of strategic matters. During his tenure at Perella Weinberg Partners, he has advised CUNA Mutual on its acquisition of Assurant’s Global Preneed business; Western & Southern Financial Group on its acquisition of Gerber Life Insurance; AIG on its acquisition of Validus Holdings; a private estate on the sale of a minority stake in a U.S.-domiciled life insurance company and Voya on its acquisition of Benefitfocus.

Prior to joining Perella Weinberg Partners in August of 2016, Mr. Rossi was at Morgan Stanley from 2010 to 2016, where he most recently served as an Executive Director responsible for mergers and acquisitions, strategic advisory, corporate restructuring and capital raising transactions for clients in all sectors of the insurance industry. Prior to that, Mr. Rossi worked at Lehman Brothers and, subsequently, Barclays Capital in the Financial Institutions Group of their Investment Banking Division. Mr. Rossi began his career at Securitas Capital.

At Morgan Stanley and Barclays, he actively worked with insurance clients, advising Sun Life Financial on its acquisition of the U.S. Employee Benefits business of Assurant; Symetra Financial Corporation on its sale to Sumitomo Life Insurance Company; Pan-American Life Insurance Group on its merger with Mutual Trust Financial Group; Endurance Specialty Holdings on its acquisition of Montpelier Re Holdings; CNA on the sale of its Life & Group subsidiary to Wilton Re; AXA on its sale of MONY Life Insurance to Protective Life; Prudential Financial on its acquisition of Hartford’s Individual Life business; and Liberty Mutual Group on its acquisition of Safeco Corp.

Mr. Rossi earned a Master’s in Business Administration from New York University and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from the University of Michigan.
