Mr. Ullmer is a Managing Director in Perella Weinberg Partners’ Advisory business.
He focuses on advising clients in the industrials sector, with primary coverage across
consumer & healthcare packaging and transport infrastructure. Mr. Ullmer is also
responsible for Perella Weinberg Partners’ cross-border activities in Australia and
Mr. Ullmer has approximately 15 years of investment banking experience assisting
companies on a wide range of strategic matters. During his tenure at Perella Weinberg
Partners, he has advised Transcontinental Inc. on the sale of its kraft paper and WPP
sacks business to Hood Packaging Corp. for $180M (*pending); Northrop Grumman
Corporation on its $9.2B acquisition of Orbital ATK Inc.; Qatar Investment Authority
on its $1.19B investment in HK Electric Investments Ltd; and Phibro Animal Health
Corporation on its Initial Public Offering.
Prior to joining Perella Weinberg Partners in August of 2013, Mr. Ullmer was at
Gresham Advisory Partners in Melbourne, Australia, from 2007 to 2013, where
he most recently served as an Associate Director responsible for covering general
industrials clients. Mr. Ullmer began his career as an Analyst at UBS Investment
Bank in Sydney, Australia.
At Gresham and UBS, he actively worked with clients, advising on the sale of Witchery
Group to Country Road Group Ltd for A$172M; Warrnambool Cheese and Butter
Factory Company Holdings Ltd on its proposed joint venture with National Foods Ltd to
acquire Dairy Farmers Milk Co-operative’s cheese business for A$210M (withdrawn);
Redflex Holdings on its defense to various takeover approaches; Housewares
International Ltd (Breville Group) on its defense to various takeover approaches; the
sale of 75% of Pacifica Group Ltd to Robert Bosch GmbH at an enterprise value of
A$575M; and the Australian Government on the A$15.4B Telstra Corporation Limited
Share Offer (Telstra 3).
Mr. Ullmer earned a Bachelor of Science (Advanced Maths) and Commerce (Finance
and Accounting) from the University of Sydney. He serves on the Board of Interschool
Orchestras of New York.
