Prior to joining Perella Weinberg Partners, Mr. Friedman spent 25 years in the financial services industry.  At Drexel Burham Lambert, Paine Webber and Morgan Stanley, he was an equity sell side analyst covering the Aerospace and Defense Industry.  He subsequently ran the Morgan Stanley North American Equity Research Department.  For the next decade he moved to the buy side including roles at Morgan Stanley as head of the New York Active Equity Group and CIO of John Levin and Co. (a publicly traded asset management committee).

At Perella Weinberg Partners, Mr. Friedman initially led the business development effort of the Asset Management business and then ran the PWP Aerospace, Defense and Security Long Short fund.  He is currently a Senior Advisor and Co-Head of the Aerospace Defense Advisory practice. His recent larger transactions have included representing Northrop Grumman in the pending acquisition of Orbital ATK as well as Hawker Beechcraft in its restructuring.

Mr. Friedman graduated with highest honors from Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics.  He received an MBA from the Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management with highest honors.  He passed the New York CPA examination.
