Nick Johnston

Partner, Advisory

Mr. Johnston is a Partner in Perella Weinberg Partners’ Advisory business.  He focuses on advising clients in the healthcare sector.

Mr. Johnston has more than 21 years of investment banking experience assisting companies on a wide range of strategic matters.  During his tenure at Perella Weinberg Partners, he has advised STADA on its take private, Sprout on its sale to Valeant, CareFusion on its sale to Becton Dickinson and Endosense on its sale to St. Jude Medical and he is currently advising Concordia on aspects of its capital structure realignment.

Prior to joining Perella Weinberg Partners in July of 2012, Mr. Johnston was at JP Morgan from 1996 to 2001 and from 2007 to 2012, where he most recently served as an Executive Director responsible for healthcare clients.  He was previously a Chief Operating Officer of Microsulis and cofounder and VP of Business at Parion Sciences.  Mr. Johnston began his career at JPMorgan.

Mr. Johnston earned a BA from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he was a Morehead Scholar.  He serves on the Board of Cipher Surgical, a UK based medical device company, and also advises medical charities on different funding initiatives.
