Mohamad Baradei

Mohamad Baradei is a Director in Perella Weinberg Partners’ Advisory business. He focuses on advising clients in the Middle East and North Africa.

During his tenure at Perella Weinberg Partners, Mr. Baradei has advised Mubadala on its sale of XOJET to Vista Global, Majid Al Futtaim on its acquisition of Retail Arabia, Network International on its acquisition of EMP, Warburg Pincus on its 49% acquisition of Network International from Abraaj together with General Atlantic, GIC on its sale of Cristal’s $2.5bn Titanium Dioxide business to Tronox, NBK Capital on its sale of Nayifat Finance, QIC on its acquisition of Antares, and Apollo on its $3.6bn loan book acquisition from Mubadala GE Capital, among other transactions.

Mr. Baradei joined Perella Weinberg Partners in October 2012 from EFG-Hermes Asset Management, where he was an analyst and member of the equities investment team. Mr. Baradei spent two years covering the Saudi market with a focus on industrials, healthcare, and retail.

Mr. Baradei holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a double concentration in Finance and BIDS from the American University of Beirut.
