Dr. Christian Stammschulte is a Managing Director in Perella Weinberg Partners’ Advisory business. He focuses on advising German corporate clients.
Dr. Stammschulte has more than 13 years of investment banking and private equity experience. Selected transactions include advisory roles to Novartis on its portfolio transformation (including the acquisition of GlaxoSmithKline’s Oncology business, disposal of Novartis’ Vaccines business, its OTC JV and disposal of Novartis’ Animal Health business to Eli Lilly), to IK Investment Partners on its sale of Minimax Viking, to TPG Capital and DLJ Merchant Banking Partners on their dual-track process for GROHE Group, to RBS Special Opportunities on its two-stage process for Arrow Global and to KBC Group on its sale of KBC Bank Germany to Apollo Global Management besides other capital market transactions.
Prior to joining Perella Weinberg Partners in August 2019, Dr. Stammschulte was a Director at DPE Deutsche Private Equity based in Munich. Previously, he served as Business Unit Manager and Executive Director for the M&A Advisory business of Goldman Sachs in Frankfurt and London. Dr. Stammschulte started his career at Morgan Stanley’s Financial Institutions Group in London.
Dr. Stammschulte earned the degree of Dr. rer. pol from Goethe Universität Frankfurt, Germany, an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh – Katz Graduate School of Business, and the degree of Diplom-Kaufmann from European Business School, Oestrich-Winkel, Germany.
