Mr. Garratt is a Director in Perella Weinberg Partners’ Advisory business. He focuses on advising clients in the Industrials sector.
Mr. Garratt has more than six years of investment banking experience. Prior to joining Perella Weinberg Partners, Mr. Garratt was a Manager at Gresham Advisory Partners Ltd in Melbourne, Australia, where he began his career. There he was involved in advising on a range of mergers and acquisitions transactions in the transport, infrastructure, building products, timberlands and natural resources sectors.
Transactions that Mr. Garratt has advised on have included Asciano on its A$12 billion sale to joint investment consortia led by Brookfield Infrastructure Partners and Qube Holdings; Global Forest Partners on its divestment of Murray River Forests; Japan Post on its A$8 billion acquisition of Toll Holdings; BHP Billiton on its demerger of a portfolio of alumina, aluminum, coal, manganese, nickel, silver, lead and zinc assets to form South32; the sale of Forest Enterprises Australia to RMS; Wesfarmers on its acquisition of Pacific Brands Workwear and a consortium led by Campbell Global on its acquisition of the South Australian Government’s softwood forestry assets.
Mr. Garratt earned a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and Accounting and a Bachelor of Arts in Chinese & Asian Studies from the University of Melbourne.
